Pure Tone Audiometry
It is the main hearing test used to identify hearing threshold levels of an individual, enabling determination of the type and degree of a hearing loss and thus providing a basis for diagnosis and management.
Tymanometry
Tympanometry is an examination used to test the condition of the middle ear by creating variations of air pressure in the ear canal.
ASSR
Auditory Steady State Response (ASSR) is an objective test used for evaluation of hearing ability in children too young for traditional audiometric testing.
Eustachian Tube Function Test
ETFT is used to assess Eustachian Tube which represents a potential communication between the middle ear (ME) and nasopharynx. Dysfunction of ET might cause hearing loss in the population and is associated with other complications such as balance disturbances.
Electronystagmography Test (ENG)
ENG is used to record involuntary movements of the eye caused by a condition known as nystagmus. It can also be used to diagnose the cause of vertigo, dizziness or balance dysfunction by testing the vestibular system.
Sound Field Audiometry
SFA test is a procedure to assess the hearing sensitivity of a person in which sound is presented through one or more sound sources in a room.
C-VEMP
Cervical vestibular evoked myogenic potential (C-VEMP) is used to determine if the vestibular system is intact and working normally which is elicited from the sternocleidomastoid muscle.
O-VEMP
Ocular Vestibular evoked myogenic potential (O-VEMP) test is also used to assesses the vestibular system which is evoked by sound stimulation and registered in the presence of ocular myogenic responses.
ECochG
Electrocochleography test is used in the diagnosis of Meniere’s disease and other disorders. ECochG tests measure electrical potentials generated in the cochlea in response to audio stimulation.
ABR
Auditory Brainstem Response test assesses the inner ear and the brain pathways for hearing are working. The test is used with children or others who cannot actively respond in subjective evaluation.
TDT/SISI/ABLB
These special tests are specific tests used to assess the conditions such as abnormal growth of loudness or nerve fatigue to sound.
SRT/SDS/LDL
Speech Audiometry tests are used to measure the ability of a patient to perceive speech signals.
Tinnitus Matching
This is an audiometric way to determine your tinnitus frequency (a ringing, buzzing, hissing, or other sound in the ears when no external sound is present).
Tinnitus Retraining Therapy
This is a form of habituation therapy designed to help people who experience tinnitus (a ringing, buzzing, hissing, or other sound) in the ears when no external sound is present.
